為校園安全功能做準備(一)

在規劃校園安全功能時，我們參考了2015年University of Michigan學生團隊發想的Companion APP之概念，讓學生在夜歸時可以找人在遠端進行"陪伴回家"。




我們希望類似上述功能夠提供給在中興大學校園內活動師生與民眾，而且更進一步是在該功能使用者發出緊急狀況求援後還能通知本校駐警隊前往馳援。基於校警隊服務範圍及後端伺服器支援流量之限制，我們必須將此功能限制在校園範圍內才能使用，於是要先定義出中興大學校園的範圍。

所以，計資中心專案小組決定要將中興大學校園範圍邊界在Google我的地圖做完整的繪製(任何單位或個人若有需要就請自行於該圖下載KML開放資料)，在這樣的地理資訊基礎上將能發展出本校專屬的"陪伴回家"功能，敬請期待。
